Investment Analyst | Rebels

Overview

The organization is seeking an Investment Analyst to join Rebels, an investment fund that provides capital and infrastructure to launch and scale digital product businesses. The fund’s portfolio includes more than 10 companies.

The fund operates in two areas:

• Venture building: launching new businesses with ambitious founders, handling operational workload and financing
• Private equity: supporting mature businesses through capital and strategic support to reach the next stage of growth

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: source people, companies, and deals
• Financial modeling (basic level):
  • Understand the relationship between the three financial statements
  • Build cash flow
  • Support basic understanding of revenue → expenses → net profit
  • Perform fundamental financial analysis
• Monitoring: track relevant portfolio and/or target companies
• Data analytics: work with data analytics on relevant projects
• Portfolio management processes: support ongoing processes
• Deal support: assist with deals (assistance, not closing deals independently)

Requirements

• Financial modeling and analytics: understanding of financial statements and ability to build financial models
• Data analysis: experience working with data and data analytics
• Unit-economics analytics: basic understanding of unit economics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with analytics related to financial statements and unit economics
• Experience supporting investment-related monitoring and deal support through data
