Investment Banking Intern (Spring 2027)

Overview

This internship program provides hands-on investment banking experience working directly with execution and support teams. Interns will contribute to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and financing assignments, while developing skills, building professional networks, and gaining direct exposure to day-to-day investment banking work.

Responsibilities

Interns may support a range of investment banking activities, including:

• Financial analysis and financial modeling
• Company and industry research
• Assisting with the development of client presentations
• Participating in workstreams that involve interaction with senior bankers and clients

Interns should confirm with their school’s Internship Coordinator before accepting the offer to determine whether the position satisfies the criteria for receiving academic credit.

Requirements

• Junior or Senior standing at a US or Canadian university
• 3.5 GPA or above
• Demonstrated ability to:
  • Write marketing documentation
  • Model transactions
  • Conduct research
  • Perform valuation analyses
  • Produce insightful competitive analyses
• Financial modeling experience in Excel
• Basic or better PowerPoint skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-driven and detail-oriented; ability to produce large amounts of high-quality work products in a short period
• Strong academic record from a leading undergraduate program
• Entrepreneurial streak
• Work authorization in the US

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time internship expected to be approximately 40 hours a week in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
