Overview
This role involves leveraging investment research expertise to evaluate AI-generated financial content, ensuring that AI systems produce insights aligned with professional investment standards. The position is a fully remote, flexible contract opportunity suitable for individuals with backgrounds in investment research, corporate strategy, consulting, or finance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze company performance drivers, financial statements, and key business metrics
- Evaluate competitive positioning, market dynamics, and sector-specific trends
- Assess macroeconomic trends and their implications for strategic investment scenarios
- Compare qualitative narrative commentary against quantitative signals for consistency and accuracy
- Summarize opportunities, risks, and potential investment scenarios in clear, structured formats
- Deliver well-reasoned insights aligned with project briefs and analytical frameworks
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Requirements
- Background in investment research, equity analysis, corporate strategy, consulting, or finance
- Strong analytical reasoning with the ability to quickly assess complex financial and competitive dynamics
- Excellent written communication skills to translate nuanced analysis into clear, structured insights
- Comfortable working across industries and adapting frameworks to new contexts
- Detail-oriented and consistent with a high standard for analytical rigor
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without close supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with valuation methodologies such as DCF, comparables, or precedent transactions
- Familiarity with sector-specific analytical frameworks (e.g., technology, healthcare, industrials, financials)
- CFA designation or progress toward it
- Prior experience in buy-side, sell-side, or strategy consulting environments
- Exposure to AI tools or financial data platforms
