Overview
A motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Program Control Analyst is sought to join a remote team supporting financial and program control activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting budget reports and preparing materials for cost-benefit evaluation studies.
- Follow established standard operating procedures to update and maintain financial management databases.
- Prepare routine status reports for senior management review.
- Facilitate administrative coordination for the budget team.
- Provide foundational knowledge of program control protocols.
- Support the collection of data for financial after-action reports.
- Assist in tracking budget expenditures and preparing mission-readiness documentation.
- Support conversion of financial data into desired formats for dissemination among stakeholders in the USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility.
- Take direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or related field; a bachelor’s degree may be substituted with 4 years of additional relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of position-relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of military budgeting processes.
- Ability to assist in the preparation of financial coordination documents.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
Clearance Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Confidential level security clearance prior to starting the position.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
- Frequent operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery such as calculators, copy machines, and printers.
- Frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
