Manager, Accounting Services
Location: Remote
Salary: $105,000 - $135,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
This role involves overseeing accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and managing client accounts within a remote environment. The position requires supervising a team of accounting professionals and delivering high-quality services to a diverse client base across various industries.
Responsibilities
Client & Team Management
- Serve as an advisor for a diverse portfolio of clients, developing personalized accounting solutions
- Identify and resolve key account issues utilizing team expertise and technology
- Lead and supervise a team of Staff Accountants, maintaining quality and adherence to company standards
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize processes and implement efficient operational practices
- Execute ad hoc projects including operational analysis and client-specific initiatives
Financial Oversight & Reporting
- Manage financial reporting and closing procedures for multiple clients
- Provide expert-level bookkeeping, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements
- Improve financial reporting practices while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management role
- Experience in public accounting or financial services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other accounting software
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on training and team development
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $105,000 to $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
