Manager, Program Cost Controls

This role supports frequent financial reviews with management and includes regular interaction with Program Managers and lead engineers, as well as cross-functional partners including Contracts, Accounting, Supply Chain, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts, partnering closely with program teams to influence program financial aspects, including:
  • Financial forecasting and reporting
  • Earned Value Management and compliance
  • Estimates at Completion (EACs)
• Develop talent within the team by:
  • Training early-career analysts in tools, processes, and general business acumen
  • Mentoring advanced analysts on career next-steps and opportunities to expand future knowledge and skillsets
• Communicate with multiple levels of management, interacting across organizational layers and making recommendations for appropriate solutions
• Serve as an integrated member of a fast-paced finance team where strategic thinking, multitasking, and individual initiative are key
• Provide support for ad hoc data reporting and participate in senior-level projects and product-line initiatives

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience with Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot Tables, Lookups) and Microsoft Office Suite of tools
• Professional experience in Program Controls with data analysis, reporting and/or process improvement

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with APEX EV (SAP) and working knowledge of SAP functions
• Experience with PMX Tool systems
• Experience applying EVMS principles, including Raytheon EVMS Certification
• Understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Financial controls experience across multiple contract types
• Experience with Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures, including Estimate at Completes (EACs) and EDIT+, and experience with RPlan or other financial forecasting tools
• Experience with external reporting and customer interactions (IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD (good-faith estimate; depends on factors including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills)

Hired applicants may also be eligible for additional annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on role level and whether the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments are not guaranteed and depend on factors including individual performance, business unit performance, and/or company performance.

Location & Work Schedule

• This is a remote role.
• Many internal customers are based in the Eastern time zone, so the work schedule should accommodate these hours.
• Employees may be expected to travel to site locations as needed.
