Payroll Clerk

Overview

This role is for a Plant Controller, a key finance position within a manufacturing environment. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with remote work possible after a 90-day onboarding period. The Plant Controller will lead financial operations at the manufacturing plant, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial aspects of plant operations, including budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement and optimize ERP systems, particularly IFS, to enhance financial processes and reporting.
• Perform detailed cost accounting analyses and develop cost reduction strategies to improve margins.
• Oversee capital expenditure (Capex) management, ensuring projects remain within budget and meet ROI expectations.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including tracking acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and present insights to senior management to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with plant management and corporate finance teams to develop financial strategies and operational plans.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining financial integrity and transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar finance role within engineering or manufacturing industries.
• Proven expertise with ERP systems, especially IFS.
• Experience in Capex management, cost accounting, and fixed asset management.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and capability to influence teams and senior management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills.
