Overview

This Payroll Specialist role supports incoming destination-management work across Italy and Mediterranean destinations, including groups, transfers, excursions, MICE, and local partners. Work is payroll-focused and execution-oriented, with a practical emphasis on maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliation, and handling exceptions.

A successful outcome ensures completed work is traceable—showing the source used, what changed, what remains open, and who owns the next action.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation related to payroll-focused, specialized execution within incoming destination-management work across Italy and Mediterranean destinations (groups, transfers, excursions, MICE, and local partners).
  • Help protect confidential account information, ensuring related actions remain traceable within the same incoming destination-management workflow.
  • Review financial inputs against supporting records to maintain payroll-focused, specialized execution accuracy.
  • Reconcile discrepancies before reporting or processing.
  • Track unresolved financial exceptions and coordinate follow-up until items are resolved and assigned to the appropriate owner.

Success Standard

Success means financial records, reconciliation, and exception handling remain usable under incoming destination-management demands. Repeated errors should become visible, exceptions should have owners, and another authorized teammate should be able to verify the work state without rebuilding its history.

Requirements

  • Experience executing payroll-focused work with a strong focus on record maintenance and data accuracy.
  • Ability to review financial inputs against supporting records (including invoice review where applicable).
  • Familiarity with reconciliation and exception handling workflows.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and audit-supportable documentation.
  • Clear, traceable payment tracking and documentation practices (including approval tracking and variance analysis where applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

Not specified.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time, associate level
  • Base salary: $43,000-$68,000 per year

Location

  • 100% remote within the United States
  • Remote execution is complete only when workflow, account review, and payroll-focused, specialized execution have been secured, traceable, and ready for the next authorized teammate within the incoming destination-management process (Italy and Mediterranean destinations: groups, transfers, excursions, MICE, and local partners).
