Overview
This Payroll Specialist role supports premium travel operations, including cruises, milestone trips, event planning, traveler support, and supplier coordination. The position focuses on accurate payroll processing, financial reconciliation, and exception handling, with clear, traceable documentation showing the source used, what changed, what remains open, and who owns the next action.
The work includes specialized execution that must remain audit-ready and verifiable by another authorized teammate.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile discrepancies related to premium travel operations by documenting sources, changes, and outcomes before reporting or processing.
- Track and manage unresolved financial exceptions, ensuring each exception remains traceable and assigned to an owner.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for payroll-focused work supporting premium travel, cruises, milestone trips, event planning, traveler support, and supplier coordination.
- Protect confidential account information while coordinating payroll-focused execution across premium travel operations.
- Review financial inputs against supporting records, ensuring evidence, owners, and deadlines are not lost.
- Clearly document spreadsheet analysis decisions so another teammate can follow the reasoning.
- Use sound judgment when providing audit support, escalating items when necessary rather than making assumptions.
Success Standard
Success means accurate financial records, reconciliation, and exception handling remain usable under the demands of premium travel, cruises, milestone trips, event planning, traveler support, and supplier coordination. Errors should become visible over time; exceptions should have owners; and another authorized teammate should be able to verify work state without reconstructing the full history.
