Overview

This role supports a rapidly scaling Marketplace Fulfillment business. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketplace Fulfillment Finance, the Principal Financial Analyst will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape strategy, influence investments, and drive profitable growth.

The position is highly visible and ideal for a self-directed, analytically strong leader who can thrive in ambiguity—building scalable solutions and delivering insights that inform executive decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-deal financial analytics by building right-to-win screens and unit economics models at the brand and SKU level, including sizing ramps and break-even points while proactively flagging operational constraints and SLA risks.
  • Drive assortment expansion decisions by identifying highest-ROI SKUs and modeling sell-through, cost-to-serve, variable retail profit across fulfillment paths, and phased launch scenarios.
  • Own and scale the quote engine by designing defensible, auditable cost-to-serve models that translate brand scope into standardized, automated quotes using SQL and Power BI, with CRM-ready outputs and clear approval guardrails.
  • Close the loop post-launch by comparing quoted economics to actuals, identifying drivers of variance, and continuously improving deal models, playbooks, and exception policies.
  • Provide end-to-end pipeline and capacity visibility by partnering with Business Development, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Outbound to surface risks early, unblock execution, and support fast, accurate, and surprise-free launches.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategy, or operations analytics within eCommerce, marketplace, or fulfillment-adjacent environments, with a strong track record of influencing business decisions.
  • Advanced analytics toolkit, including expert-level SQL and Excel.
  • Strong Power BI capabilities (data modeling, DAX).
  • Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Proven ability to build scalable economics models, including hands-on experience developing quoting frameworks, cost-to-serve engines, and operational guardrails that support rapid growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills and business partnering ability, including translating complex analyses into clear narratives, driving alignment across senior stakeholders, and performing under tight timelines.
  • Owner’s mindset with strong collaboration skills, balancing accountability, humility, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing quoting frameworks, cost-to-serve engines, and operational guardrails to support rapid growth.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Flexible time-off culture, including a generous vacation policy.
  • Paid time-off for your wedding week.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Support for parents of growing families.
  • Health & Wellness benefits, including affordable medical, dental, and vision plans with coast-to-coast coverage.
  • Free telehealth and on-demand mental health resources.
  • Annual milestone recognition with special gifts, swag store credit, or donations to a nonprofit of your choice.
  • Support for giving back, including paid time off to make a social impact.
