Overview

A leading organization is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to manage the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function for a $300 million portfolio comprising multiple complex vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports along with variance analyses
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
  • Analyze financial performance against budgets and prior periods to identify trends and variances
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and dashboards for senior management
  • Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems and tools
  • Streamline financial processes and improve efficiency through automation
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reports
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and financial modeling
  • Experience with financial planning software such as Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, or SAP BPC
  • Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to present financial information effectively to non-financial audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
