QuickBooks Implementation Consultant

Overview

This role is for a QuickBooks Implementation Consultant providing client-facing accounting system implementations, financial consulting, and ongoing advisory services. Work is fully remote and involves hands-on accounting execution, QuickBooks expertise, and consulting project delivery.

You will work directly with clients to stabilize, optimize, and scale financial systems, including consulting and training across QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and ERP platforms such as Acumatica or NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement accounting processes to streamline operations and improve productivity
• Lead system implementations, conversions, and migrations (including transitions to QuickBooks Online Advanced and consolidation of multi-entity environments)
• Perform QuickBooks file rebuilds and data cleanup (repair corrupted/bloated files and restore reliable financial reporting)
• Redesign workflows and processes to improve efficiency across accounting and operations teams
• Lead and manage small-scale projects from initiation through completion
• Provide client-facing consulting by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions
• Deliver hands-on training, troubleshooting, and optimization support for QuickBooks
• Perform end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting including AR, AP, reconciliations, and monthly close
• Support financial operations by conducting file assessments, maintaining reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close
• Assist as a secondary project manager on larger initiatives
• Maintain accurate and organized client file records
• Schedule and conduct client training sessions and ongoing services
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams
• Maintain a 90% billable utilization rate
• Accurately log billable and non-billable hours in the CRM

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant accounting or consulting experience
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with Microsoft Excel

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $55,000–$75,000
• Quarterly bonus opportunities
