Overview
This role involves managing regulatory compliance activities, including timely preparation and filing of state and federal reports, supporting regulatory inquiries, and maintaining regulatory documentation and tracking systems.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurately file state and federal regulatory reports for the organization and related legal entities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory compliance filings.
- Assist with coordination of responses to data requests and other compliance-related activities.
- Seek necessary approvals and support commission inquiries.
- Support and prepare various ILEC/CLEC/IXC reports, including AP coordination, state US payment processing, and maintenance of regulatory reports, logs, and databases.
- Assist with ad hoc compliance projects as they arise during the year.
- Maintain regulatory report files and tracking databases.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with internal departments, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Manage regulatory audits.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree with concentration in telecommunications or accounting preferred.
- 0-1 year of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or financial reporting role.
- Accounting and financial analysis skills.
- Accounts payable experience desired.
- Detail oriented and strongly organized.
- Research skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting compensation range: $50,000 to $74,500.
- Actual base pay will depend on the candidate’s primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.

Location
Primary work location will determine actual base pay within the stated compensation range.
