Overview
This senior-level, client-facing accounting position requires expertise in Sage 100 Contractor with a focus on construction accounting, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and month-end close activities. The role involves managing multiple clients and providing comprehensive day-to-day accounting support.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting tasks for multiple construction clients
- Process payroll accurately and timely
- Perform bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Provide guidance and support to clients on accounting questions
- Take ownership of client accounts and work independently
- Communicate effectively to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years recent experience using Sage 100 Contractor
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices
- Hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client accounts autonomously
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a high-autonomy, remote environment
