Remote CPA Accountant / Relationship Manager

Overview

100% remote Accountant/Relationship Manager (CPA required) with a path to $205,000 salary. This is a permanent direct hire role with 40-hour weeks year-round.

Starting salary is $85,000. Unlimited PTO and benefits are included.

Availability requirement: must be available between 8:30 and 4:30 CST to answer questions, while still having flexibility to set hours.

Compensation

• Starting salary: $85,000
• Path to salary:
  • $85,000 (50 clients)
  • $125,000 (75 clients)
  • $165,000 (100 clients)
  • Up to $205,000 salary (125 clients)
  • Possible equity after reaching $205,000
• Salary (not an hourly position)

Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping
• Prepare monthly reports
• Support tax planning
• Process payroll
• Complete 1099 reporting
• File annual reports
• Manage client communication and relationships
• Support tax preparation for clients

Work split: 20 hours of technical work weekly and 10–20 hours of client communication, relationship management, and tax preparation.

Requirements

• Must be a CPA
• Small to medium-sized firm experience required
• Availability between 8:30 and 4:30 CST to answer questions
