Remote Senior Accounting Associate

Overview

• Fully remote position
• Supports a federal program by ensuring compliance with accounting and financial management standards.
• Develops accounting policies, documentation, and financial reporting tools to help ensure adherence to federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation templates and protocols
• Attend and document executive-level meetings
• Perform accounting research
• Create presentations for client management
• Develop policy and procedure templates and maintain a repository
• Develop or update accounting policies, procedures, and process maps
• Conduct walk-through interviews with process owners
• Design financial management dashboards in collaboration with subject matter experts
• Design presentation templates and graphic design tools
• Develop training materials

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of federal accounting or federal financial statement audit experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with strong ownership of work
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $95,000 - $105,000 a year
