SAP Financial Systems BA – R2R and RAR || Remote

Overview

This contract role is for an SAP Financial Systems Business Analyst specializing in Record-to-Report (R2R) and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) processes. The position is fully remote and offers an hourly rate of $70-75.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance organizations by analyzing and improving SAP financial systems.
• Work with SAP Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
• Create functional specifications and assist in end-to-end solution delivery.
• Perform requirements gathering, process mapping, and user acceptance testing.
• Manage stakeholder communications, including interactions with executives and business users.
• Analyze financial data and support compliance with revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst supporting Finance organizations.
• Strong domain expertise in SAP Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
• Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Ability to create detailed functional specifications.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, testing, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with executives and business users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
