Senior Accountant

Overview

A fully remote, contract opportunity for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant supporting a growing accounting team.

This role will participate in a variety of accounting projects and strategic initiatives, with exposure to:

• Technical accounting
• Financial reporting
• Process improvements
• System implementations
• Cross-functional projects

Responsibilities

• Support technical accounting and financial reporting initiatives
• Participate in month-end close activities
• Contribute to process improvement efforts and accounting projects
• Assist with system implementations, accounting-related integrations, or related initiatives (as applicable)
• Collaborate across teams to support cross-functional accounting work

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Experience with technical accounting, process improvements, or accounting projects
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with large ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to ERP implementations, acquisitions, or integration initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

• Temporary contract expected to last at least 6 months
