Overview
A global crypto and Web3 platform founded in 2014 is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The organization offers a wide range of crypto products and services to individuals and institutions in over 70 countries. This role involves supporting financial modeling, company valuation, and growth metrics analysis, preferably with experience in cryptocurrency, fintech, or related industries.
Responsibilities
Modeling & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain driver-based financial models linked to key financial and operational metrics.
- Manage financial databases from multiple sources and integrate data into consolidated forecasts.
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses across key metrics and financial data points.
Business Partnership
- Collaborate with Product, Corporate Development, Strategy, Accounting, and Treasury teams to translate strategic plans into financial plans.
- Monitor performance against plans and drive improvements in revenue planning, expense management, cash flow forecasting, and capital management.
- Support ROI analysis and pricing discussions for new and existing services.
- Provide analysis and decision support for ad-hoc strategic initiatives.
Analysis & Insights
- Analyze current and historical performance of key metrics to create impactful KPI presentations.
- Translate financial analysis into actionable insights for strategic planning, cash flow management, financing, and Board meetings.
- Prepare variance analysis for senior leadership.
- Support preparation of quarterly earnings materials and investor communications, working with Investor Relations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, management consulting, or Big 4 accounting.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and growth metrics, especially within financial services, fintech, or consumer technology sectors.
- Advanced Excel skills and extensive financial modeling experience.
- Experience with financial modeling systems such as Workday Adaptive is preferred.
- Data analytics experience with tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar is preferred; SQL skills are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convert quantitative analysis into clear, actionable insights.

Salary Range: $92,400 - $132,000 (base salary in the State of New York). This range excludes discretionary bonuses and equity packages. Compensation is determined based on skillset, experience, job scope, and market data.
Location & Work Arrangement
The organization offers a hybrid work model at hub offices in the United States, balancing in-person collaboration with remote work flexibility. Specific expectations vary by location and role. Remote work options are available for employees not located near hub offices.
