Overview
A global consulting firm specializing in digital finance is seeking a Senior Analyst for Financial Close. The team consists of finance specialists with expertise across financial close, digital reporting, risk advisory, treasury, and related areas.
Location
- Headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with offices in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX.
- Remote work is available; hybrid option for those within a 45-minute commute of an office.
- Hybrid employees are expected to work 8 days per month in-person, with flexible scheduling.
- Travel up to 40% is expected.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to design and implement improvements in financial workflows and reporting.
- Assist in managing project activities to align with client goals and timelines.
- Develop subject matter expertise in financial close processes and BlackLine implementations, including account reconciliations, journal entries, consolidations, flux analysis, intercompany transactions, and financial/management reporting.
- Work closely with client teams to define business requirements and solutions.
- Identify process optimization opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Lead or participate in client-facing workshops and meetings.
- Create and deploy digital dashboards to analyze client processes and highlight transformation opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience with BlackLine or financial close process areas.
- Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on process optimization.
- Proficiency with financial systems including Salesforce and other relevant applications.
- Experience supporting transformation projects and collaborating across teams.
- Understanding of project management and change management principles.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of professional experience with Trintech T-Recs.
- Familiarity with FinancialForce or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $84,000 - $110,000, with final placement based on expertise, experience, certifications, education, geography, and industry standards.
