Overview
A financial technology organization is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join their Enterprise Risk Management team. This role combines credit risk analytics, data science, and strategic risk management to support credit risk strategy at a fast-growing fintech bank.
Responsibilities
- Monitor credit performance across consumer and commercial portfolios
- Build and maintain credit risk dashboards providing real-time portfolio health visibility for senior management and the Board
- Analyze early warning signals such as 7-day delinquency, payment behavior changes, and credit utilization patterns to predict portfolio stress
- Track key credit risk indicators (KRIs) including delinquency rates, charge-off metrics, risk grade distributions, and concentration limits as defined in the Bank's Risk Appetite Statement
- Prepare monthly and quarterly credit risk reports for management and board committees
- Lead or challenge credit risk assessments for new products, partnerships, underwriting policy changes, and portfolio expansion initiatives
- Collaborate with Credit, Underwriting, and Product teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence
- Support regulatory examinations by preparing credit risk documentation, responding to examiner requests, and presenting portfolio performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business or quantitative field
- Minimum 5 years of credit risk experience in a bank or financial services organization
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines
- Experience with business intelligence tools, including creating dashboards and reports for senior management
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is market-based and varies by location within the United States, categorized into four zones based on cost of labor indices:
- Zone A: $148,700–$223,100 USD
- Zone B: $138,300–$207,500 USD
- Zone C: $130,900–$196,300 USD
- Zone D: $123,400–$185,200 USD
