- Own the financial evaluation of new product lines and launches—from concept through post-launch—by partnering on business cases, unit-economics models, pricing frameworks, and revenue projections.
- Support financial planning for the Product organization, including annual plan, quarterly forecasting, and long-range modeling; advise on investment trade-offs and resource allocation across the product portfolio.
- Drive scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and market sizing to pressure-test assumptions and support capital allocation discussions with leadership.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to inform product investment theses.
- Partner with corporate development and strategic finance on M&A diligence or new market entries that intersect with the product roadmap.
- Prepare and present clear, compelling financial narratives that communicate product strategy with financial clarity.
- Develop financial performance dashboards and executive reporting for new and emerging product lines; lead variance analysis with actionable commentary for senior leadership.
- Build and scale the Product Finance function by establishing repeatable financial processes and frameworks that enable product teams to access insights.
Requirements
- 13+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated track record as an embedded finance business partner influencing roadmap and investment decisions at the C-suite level.
- Experience building financial models and business cases for new product launches (including 0→1 products) and new market entries; strong command of unit economics, revenue modeling, and scenario analysis.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to distill complex financial analysis into clear, actionable narratives for both financial and non-financial audiences (including executive presentations).
- A “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset—comfortable building models and presenting results to the CFO and Chief Product Officer.
