Overview

A leading online casino and sports betting operator is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, cross-functional planning, commercial opportunity modeling, reporting, competitive intelligence, and ad hoc analysis. Responsibilities

  • Provide FP&A support including budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Evaluate domestic and international growth opportunities by incorporating market dynamics, regulatory factors, customer behavior, and financial assumptions into business models.
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance financial modeling, forecasting accuracy, and support business decisions.
  • Lead weekly and monthly reporting of revenue and operational KPIs, delivering insights and identifying trends for management.
  • Review, benchmark, and analyze performance against competitors to inform management recommendations.
  • Develop financial models to assess a wide range of commercial opportunities in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify key drivers and trends to support company objectives.
  • Improve FP&A processes by enhancing financial models, automation, and reporting tools.
  • Analyze the financial impact of major sporting events, seasonal trends, and customer behavior to improve forecasting and provide actionable insights.
  • Manage ad hoc requests independently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP&A, Public Accounting, or Corporate Finance.
  • Advanced financial modeling and superior Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to strategically apply AI tools in financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and innovative thinking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the gaming industry or as an avid sports fan.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite Planning and Budgeting software.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 USD (varies by experience, skills, and location).
