Overview

A global consulting firm specializing in strategic, operational, and financial advisory services is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Finance practice within the Turnaround & Restructuring team. This role involves working on diverse client engagements that require complex financial modeling, strategic analysis, and operational assessments to support turnaround and restructuring projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily activities of the Corporate Finance - Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams across various engagements.
  • Develop and execute detailed financial models, including 13-week cash flow forecasts, three-statement models, and scenario planning.
  • Assist in preparing client presentations, reports, and analytical documents that clearly communicate findings and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to understand business issues, analyze financial data, and identify key value drivers.
  • Participate in developing innovative solutions and contribute to practice growth through marketing efforts, client pitches, and practice development initiatives.
  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in all client interactions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to provide informed advice and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within consulting or professional services environments.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, including constructing and interpreting three-statement models, cash flow forecasts, and scenario analyses.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of financial and operational data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and senior management.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, project management skills, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Technical expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with financial research tools such as Capital IQ or Bloomberg is preferred.
  • CFA, CPA, or equivalent certifications are a plus, along with knowledge of GAAP accounting standards.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements.

  • Experience in financial modeling, data analysis, strategic planning, financial analysis, and restructuring.
