Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

This role supports a corporate finance team focused on balance sheet and cash flow forecasting. Responsibilities include driving monthly forecasting processes, performing variance analysis, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve reporting quality, and contributing to workflow improvements through AI and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly forecast process for balance sheet and cash flow items, including deferred revenue, receivables, billings, collections, lease-related balances, and other key assets and liabilities
• Prepare and deliver variance analysis comparing actual results to forecast, and current forecast to prior forecast
• Partner with teams across operations, accounting, procurement, data analytics, treasury, and technical accounting to improve reporting quality and forecast accuracy
• Use AI and automation tools to improve recurring reporting and forecasting workflows to increase efficiency and precision
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analyses supporting business decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts, especially balance sheet and cash flow statements
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large sets of financial data
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting tools
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal direction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite or Adaptive
• Familiarity with AI or automation tools used in financial planning and analysis
• Interest in or exposure to cybersecurity and/or SaaS environments
• Experience supporting balance sheet forecasting and related financial modeling

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.00 - $35.08 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
