Overview
This role involves performing complex financial analysis related to company expenses, income, and other business results based on past, present, and future operations. The position supports evaluating information to help set the strategic direction for the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze business and financial information at a corporate level
- Make recommendations and assist in establishing the strategic direction of the organization
- Analyze and report fluctuations in financial and business results to identify trends and variances
- Provide recommendations to improve company performance and resolve issues
- Compare actual financial results to budgeted amounts and advise management on potential cost impacts
- Assist in preparing company budgets and financial forecasts for business planning
- Monitor and evaluate individual department expenses to identify trends and assist in cost control
- Recommend changes to streamline accounting systems and processes for efficiency and resource utilization
- Prepare reports outlining the company's financial position regarding income, expenses, and earnings
- Analyze and interpret various financial reports and statistics to management and make recommendations
- Assist with reviewing and evaluating performance evaluations to provide coaching and feedback
- Adapt new developments in financial planning and control to improve financial systems and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Six years of related financial analysis experience
- Demonstrated ability to conduct various types of analysis, including cost-benefit and alternative analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in spreadsheet applications and mainframe accounting systems
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under strict deadlines
- Strong business aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of financial and operational planning processes and best practices
- Strong work ethic and flexible work style
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment regularly
- Proven ability to navigate complex situations involving multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated decision-making ability with balanced consideration of business issues
- Clean credit history as reported by credit report

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $84,000.00 - $141,750.00
- Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law
- Eligible for bonuses and commissions as part of the compensation package
