Overview
A leading cloud infrastructure organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Workload Health team focused on the GPU Product Portfolio. This role involves end-to-end financial planning, modeling, and analysis for a specific product family within a fast-growing cloud infrastructure business. The analyst will act as a key business advisor to product and engineering teams, providing strategic financial insights to optimize business economics while supporting rapid scaling.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end product Profit & Loss (P&L) statements
- Develop scenario-based financial and business models to derive product-level insights
- Conduct competitive analysis, pricing, and cost modeling for new product introductions (NPI)
- Link business strategy to financial reporting using KPIs and goal setting across various levels
- Influence investment decisions through detailed financial analysis
- Drive gross margin optimization by analyzing business, financial, and operational drivers
- Own financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities aligned with corporate requirements
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to ensure appropriate capacity investments
- Collaborate closely with engineering leaders and teams as a trusted advisor
- Develop and implement policies and procedures supporting operational and business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-8+ years of finance experience; MBA is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud technology and infrastructure and/or experience supporting engineering teams preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across disciplines and organizational levels
- Results-oriented with the ability to translate ideas into operational plans and execute effectively
- Proven track record of using data insights to drive decision-making
- Strong partnering and influencing skills without direct authority
- Initiative-driven with a focus on achieving value-added results
- Ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast-evolving business environment
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Self-directed, proactive, and able to multitask and take ownership of work
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $74,100 - $148,300 per year (U.S. locations)
