Overview
A high-growth fintech organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Go-to-Market (GTM) Finance team. This role supports the GTM FP&A function, which includes Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Onboarding. The position reports to the Director of GTM Finance and plays a key role in public company readiness, revenue forecasting, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain detailed financial models for GTM operating expenses, including sales and marketing spend, headcount, compensation, commissions, revenue share, and tooling across all GTM channels.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify root causes of budget-to-actual differences and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Act as a strategic finance partner to GTM leaders by managing budgets and headcount plans, driving spend accountability, and delivering ad hoc analysis.
- Provide data-driven insights to optimize sales and marketing efficiency metrics such as CAC and payback period.
- Automate core financial systems (e.g., Pigment, NetSuite, Snowflake) to establish a single source of truth.
- Prepare clear and compelling financial narratives for Board decks, investor materials, and monthly business reviews.
- Create and monitor KPIs related to GTM efficiency and spending.
- Collaborate with GTM and People teams on headcount planning, sales capacity, ramping quota-carrying reps, hiring pacing, and fully loaded costs of GTM growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or FinTech environment.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build robust financial models.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, Churn, LTV/CAC, and NRR and their impact on the P&L.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
- Experience driving insights from large datasets; SQL skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Pigment is advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $100,000 - $140,000, determined by geographic location within the U.S., relevant skills, and experience.
- Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, and equity.
