Senior Financial Analyst - Multiple Roles (Americas)
Overview
The Finance team supports long-term growth and strategic planning by providing financial insights, analysis, and decision support across various business areas including commercial finance, merchant services, and corporate financial planning. This role involves partnering with multiple teams to influence business direction and improve financial performance.
Multiple Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst positions are available. Candidates will contribute to financial planning, modeling, and analysis, leveraging technologies such as SQL, Python, and AI to automate processes and extract insights from large datasets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models and business cases to evaluate growth initiatives, product launches, and business line performance
- Collaborate with data science, business operations, commercial, product teams, and leadership to analyze business drivers, identify opportunities and risks, and improve unit economics and lifetime value (LTV)
- Prepare quarterly profit and loss (P&L) forecasts and operational metric forecasts
- Create management reporting, dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and conduct monthly variance analysis and operating reviews
- Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using SQL, Python, and AI tools to enhance FP&A workflows
- Train team members on AI and other tools to promote adoption and improve efficiency
- Communicate complex financial and technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Foster collaboration with business partners to advance financial objectives
- Lead strategic business planning, including annual operating plans and rolling long-range plans
Requirements
- Proven experience driving impact in complex business environments
- Strong financial modeling and strategic business planning skills
- Experience creating investment business cases in fast-growth businesses
- Proficiency in data analytics and SQL, including writing complex queries and maintaining data integrity
- Familiarity with Python and Google Looker Studio is a plus
- Enthusiasm for AI and innovative technology solutions
- Growth mindset with a builder’s mentality and strong execution skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and adapt to change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in business partnering and mentoring
- Background in data science, management consulting, investment banking, FP&A, or related fields
- Experience working with B2B marketing and sales teams
- Experience in technology, fintech, or SaaS business models
- Experience in transforming or automating FP&A processes is advantageous
