Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst role involves providing financial analysis and guidance to the finance and operations teams. This position is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data, developing financial models, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business forecasting and planning.
  • Analyze financial data, statements, and key performance indicators.
  • Provide financial support for business decisions by evaluating performance and identifying improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and support special projects as needed.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting tools to enhance visibility into business performance.
  • Ensure financial data integrity and accuracy by maintaining data systems and controls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong operational accounting background in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated courtesy and patience.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, including data collection and analysis.

  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience in the construction or real estate industry.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $115,000 to $120,000 annually plus benefits.
