Overview
This role involves serving as a senior analyst and embedded finance partner for an assigned functional area. You will own functional financial planning and analysis end to end, partnering closely with business leaders on operating models, headcount and spend decisions, and monthly planning rhythms.
Assignments may support areas such as support, G&A, or go-to-market. Prior experience in a specific function is not required; the focus is on your ability to learn how a business operates and translate that into analysis leaders can act on.

- Manage forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for your functions, including the narrative that explains variances

- Conduct vendor and operating expense reviews to identify where leverage exists and where it does not
- Provide decision support between planning cycles, including business cases and scenario work
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Approximately 2 to 5 years in FP&A, business finance, consulting, banking, or a comparable analytical role (years are flexible if the substance is there)
- Strong financial modeling skills and analytical judgment to identify incorrect conclusions
- Ability to communicate effectively with functional leaders and lead conversations with confidence
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of ambiguous work without being closely managed
- Working style that emphasizes automating repeatable parts of the job
- Familiarity with AI tools, BI tools, SQL, or planning systems (a plus); the organization will help build these if you have the instinct but have not used the tools
- Meaningful overlap with Pacific time (team is on the West Coast)
- Open to occasional travel for team and company onsite visits
