Overview
This position offers a compensation range of $82,747 to $108,877 annually. It is available for remote work within Alaska, Oregon, Washington, or Colorado. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States as international remote applicants and routine work visa sponsorship are not supported.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complex financial analyses that support strategy development, execution, and problem resolution.
- Gather and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources to develop spreadsheets, financial models, and reports.
- Analyze actual financial performance against budgets, identify variances, and prepare periodic reports for executive management.
- Participate in the analysis and maintenance of financial systems, including assisting with system upgrades and conversions to business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting operating and capital budget development and reporting, including P&L, long-term forecasts, cash flow, and balance sheet models.
- Compile and compare data submitted by managers to budget targets, identify variances, and assist in developing value-added key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders by researching and responding to capital and operating budget inquiries.
- Perform complex financial analyses related to special projects, including pre-acquisition analyses, acquisitions, business cases, and refinancing.
- Assist in developing short- and long-term IT plans and forecasts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent education, experience, and training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- Minimum of four years of progressively responsible professional financial analysis experience. Equivalent education and training may substitute for experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Mid-expert level proficiency with business intelligence tools and data visualization techniques.
- Preferred experience with SQL and other data mining techniques.
