Overview
A growing finance team is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strategic Senior FP&A Analyst. This role serves as the finance organization's engine for revenue analysis and board-level reporting, bridging the gap between complex financial data and executive-level decision-making. The ideal candidate enjoys digging into data to uncover revenue drivers, trends, and variances, and can translate those findings into polished, compelling presentations for the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
Responsibilities

- Perform monthly and quarterly variance analyses (Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast) to identify key performance drivers and anomalies.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to track pipeline health, conversion rates, and pricing strategies.
- Work with Data/BI teams to ensure data pipelines and revenue metrics are accurate, consistent, and scalable.
- Own preparation of financial decks, graphics, and commentary for quarterly Board of Directors meetings and investor relations.
- Synthesize complex financial results into clear, concise, and actionable narratives for external stakeholders.
- Design and maintain executive dashboards highlighting critical SaaS/business metrics, financial health, and strategic growth pillars.
- Support the executive team with ad-hoc financial modeling, M&A scenarios, or long-range strategic planning.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Strategic Analytics.
- Experience in high-growth technology, SaaS, or venture-backed/PE-backed companies is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including complex formulas and financial modeling best practices.
- High proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides with strong visual storytelling and professional formatting skills.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Mosaic) and BI tools (e.g., Sigma, PowerBI) is a major plus.
- Self-starter with a high degree of ownership, execution focus, and strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting "the story behind the numbers" to senior executives.
