Overview

An established financial advisory firm founded in 2016 is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst with strong expertise in financial modeling and economic analysis. This role involves maintaining and refining the company’s core financial model, updating financial plans and budgets, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. The position reports directly to the FP&A Director and plays a key role in fundraising initiatives and leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance financial operations.

Responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Operations

  • Maintain and refine the core company financial model, translating complex operating models into a consolidated cash flow model.
  • Conduct strategic ROI and ad hoc financial analyses to evaluate key initiatives and inform business strategy.
  • Develop KPI dashboards and prepare monthly board presentations to elevate financial reporting.
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools to accelerate ad hoc analysis, reporting, and decision support.

Leadership & Analytics

  • Translate large, complex data sets into clear, digestible analyses for management and the Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Director to provide strategic thought leadership, identifying trends and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of analytical experience in FP&A, valuation, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic finance.
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills, including building three-statement financial models, pivot tables, scenario analysis, and cash flow models.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Previous buy-side or sell-side transaction experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to present complex financial data in accessible graphic or narrative formats.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve finance operations.
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to deliver high-quality work independently and manage projects end-to-end.
  • Strong project management skills with flexibility to work over 40 hours per week and weekends as needed.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and motivation to learn about all aspects of a high-growth business.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $100,000 - $125,000 plus bonus, commensurate with experience and skills.
