Overview
An established financial advisory firm founded in 2016 is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst with strong expertise in financial modeling and economic analysis. This role involves maintaining and refining the company’s core financial model, updating financial plans and budgets, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. The position reports directly to the FP&A Director and plays a key role in fundraising initiatives and leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance financial operations.
Responsibilities
Financial Modeling & Operations
- Maintain and refine the core company financial model, translating complex operating models into a consolidated cash flow model.
- Conduct strategic ROI and ad hoc financial analyses to evaluate key initiatives and inform business strategy.
- Develop KPI dashboards and prepare monthly board presentations to elevate financial reporting.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to accelerate ad hoc analysis, reporting, and decision support.
Leadership & Analytics
- Translate large, complex data sets into clear, digestible analyses for management and the Board of Directors.
- Collaborate with the FP&A Director to provide strategic thought leadership, identifying trends and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of analytical experience in FP&A, valuation, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic finance.
- Expert-level financial modeling skills, including building three-statement financial models, pivot tables, scenario analysis, and cash flow models.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, economics, business, or a related field.
- Previous buy-side or sell-side transaction experience is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to present complex financial data in accessible graphic or narrative formats.
- Comfortable leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve finance operations.
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to deliver high-quality work independently and manage projects end-to-end.
- Strong project management skills with flexibility to work over 40 hours per week and weekends as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $100,000 - $125,000 plus bonus, commensurate with experience and skills.
