Sr Accountant, Technical Accounting (Remote)

Overview

This role involves providing expert guidance on technical accounting topics, including GAAP, financial reporting, and SEC matters. The position supports the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and audit readiness, while collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to resolve complex accounting issues.

Responsibilities

• Research and advise on technical accounting issues related to GAAP, financial reporting, and SEC regulations.
• Prepare detailed technical memos, analyses, and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve complex accounting challenges.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, disclosures, and ensuring audit readiness.
• Serve as backup support for the financial reporting team.
• Support internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel as well as external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and effectively implement change.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Workiva is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $77,100.00 - $123,300.00 USD.
• Individual compensation will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.
