Sr. Associate - F&A - AP 5B

Overview

This role supports Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including invoice validation, issue resolution, and timely payment processing. You will ensure compliance with internal policies and AP guidelines while maintaining accurate and complete processing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and resolve invoices.
• Validate core invoice details required for a valid invoice, including supplier details, PO, bank account information, invoice number, and invoice date.
• Release invoices for payment timely and accurately.
• Ensure each pay run is completed as agreed with the customer.
• Follow up on requisitions to resolve invoice issues via calls/emails or tickets, following AP guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to reduce helpdesk queries and support process improvements.
• Adhere to internal compliance policies and established guidelines in daily operations.
• Perform daily internal audits to ensure invoices and queries are handled according to guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance; or Master’s degree in Finance.
• Language: Bulgarian (Required)
• Language proficiency: Advanced – C1

Preferred Qualifications

• Accounts Payable Certification – F-TecF-Tec
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) – Professional School of Indian Banking (PSIB)
• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) – Skillab
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) – ACFE
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Perfekt Szolnok
