Overview
This role offers an opportunity to develop and optimize credit strategies within the financial services industry. The position involves leading risk and analytics strategy for credit card products, including underwriting policies and portfolio optimization. It is a remote position available within the United States, offering a salary up to $161,000 annually plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize credit strategies using data and advanced analytics tools
- Lead risk and analytics strategy for credit card products, including underwriting policies and portfolio optimization
- Conduct A/B tests and analyze risk-return trade-offs
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to implement and monitor strategies
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and communicate findings to the Risk Management team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics
- 2+ years of relevant experience managing credit/fraud risk for Analyst level; 5+ years for Senior Analyst level
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Experience in credit risk management and/or data science in consumer lending
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in product launches or go-to-market analytics
- Knowledge of R and Knowledge Seeker
- Experience with Fiserv and/or FICO fraud tools
- Eagerness to learn new tools and methodologies to stay ahead of industry trends
- Ability to thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments
