Overview

A senior financial analyst role is available to coordinate and manage SG&A financial activities across multiple Latin American countries and regions. This position involves budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, process improvement, and financial reporting to support decision-making and business results.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate SG&A financial activities for 9 countries/regions: Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Central America & Caribbean Region (CCA +10 countries), and Ecuador.
  • Collaborate with financial leaders and the FP&A team to budget and forecast HQ SG&A cost centers and functions.
  • Partner with other functional teams to source accurate financial data.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and reporting of SG&A actuals versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Drive process improvements across Latin America and align with corporate processes impacting month-end close, forecasting, and operating plans.
  • Validate financial systems and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the month-end accrual process for Latin America SG&A cost centers.
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting for growth investment initiatives, including reporting and variance analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, preferably within multinational companies or regional roles.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience with process improvements and optimization.
  • Knowledge of the Latin American business environment and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, dashboard building, PowerPoint, EPM, Hyperion HFM, and SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment across multiple functions.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to generate solutions and recommendations.
