Sr Financial Analyst- ONA Data Platform

Overview

This role within the organization’s finance function supports planning and control activities. You will assist with consolidation and reporting of financial results, annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial analysis to inform senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial guidance and business-partner expertise to Sales Leadership to identify risk and opportunities to improve performance.
• Leverage AI technology and key data sources to enhance financial analysis.
• Build the annual budget model, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Perform forecasting and analysis using financial and operational metrics to deliver data-driven insights.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Cloud Engineers, and Operations to model and forecast Cloud Consumption.
• Communicate timely, effectively, and cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve efficiencies.
• Run ad-hoc scenario analysis to assess potential impacts, identifying key drivers and risks/opportunities.
• Assist with presentation materials for Senior Management meetings.
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise across finance-related functions, enabling responses to requests with minimal guidance.
• Stay current on initiatives, challenges, and opportunities across the business to maintain broad knowledge of business areas.
• Run quarterly close forecasting processes with minimal guidance.
• Prepare quarterly results and provide commentary and variance explanations.
• Lead collaboration across business support functions to streamline processes, improve operational efficiencies, and support timely submissions.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years finance experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple challenging priorities.
• Innovative problem solving and effective decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with business partners and stakeholders to accomplish team goals.
• Experience with process improvement, standardization, and automation, focused on driving efficiency and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge/experience of Finance functions within the cloud technology industry.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance/improve processes, modeling, and financial insights.

Compensation & Benefits

US hiring range (USD): $74,100 - $148,300 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
