Overview
A Senior Financial Analyst position is available within the Business Finance team. This role involves leading forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting, and strategic financial analysis to support key business decisions. The analyst will collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and business leaders to provide clear insights, enhance performance visibility, and improve planning processes. Responsibilities
- Lead financial analysis and decision support for budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and business planning.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reviews, including executive-level reports, dashboards, presentations, and client-level reporting.
- Perform variance analysis comparing actuals, plans, and forecasts for key financial statement lines and metrics across Renters Solutions products and clients.
- Analyze financial and operational performance to identify drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Build and enhance financial models, scenarios, and business cases to support forecasting, strategic initiatives, and investment decisions.
- Partner with finance, accounting, and business leaders to align assumptions, improve visibility, and support decision-making.
- Support the annual budget, forecast updates, and ad hoc analyses, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.
- Maintain data integrity and reporting consistency while identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and analytical efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, business finance, or a related analytical role.
- Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Proven ability to convert complex financial and operational data into clear insights, recommendations, and business actions.
- Experience preparing management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Strong communication and business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or MBA.
- Experience with ERP or planning systems.
- Experience supporting strategic planning, investment analysis, or enterprise-wide business initiatives.
- Background partnering directly with senior business leaders on performance management and decision support.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, reporting, forecasting, or workflow efficiency.
- Thorough understanding of business issues and concepts related to the insurance or financial services industry.
Compensation
- Salary range: $64,900.00 - $108,200.00
