Overview

The organization is seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Pricing Strategist to join its Commercial Strategy & Operations team. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams—including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance—to design, test, and implement pricing models that support business objectives and respond to customer needs and competitive dynamics. This position is responsible for shaping a comprehensive, standardized pricing strategy to drive revenue growth and enable data-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a standardized pricing strategy across multiple solutions that reflects product and platform value, supports channel partner needs, and ensures consistency across products and services.
  • Lead the development and use of pricing models based on deep data analysis.
  • Use internal and external data sources (sales trends, cost & discount structures, customer segmentation) to optimize pricing across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Channel, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to gather insights, test assumptions, validate findings, and ensure pricing strategy alignment with broader business initiatives.
  • Develop and implement standardized pricing processes and tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency.
  • Research and test pricing strategies to support multi-product adoption and cross-selling, increasing customer portfolio adoption.
  • Analyze market conditions, customer behavior, competitor pricing, and cost structures to recommend pricing adjustments and strategies that drive competitive advantage and/or optimize profitability.
  • Conduct market research to stay current on industry trends, competitive pricing tactics, and emerging market opportunities and threats.
  • Establish and maintain pricing governance frameworks to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal guidelines.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to pricing strategies across different departments.
  • Analyze the impact of price changes on customer behavior, revenue, and margin, and refine pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and track the financial impact of pricing decisions on revenue and profitability; present reports and insights to senior and executive leadership.
  • Establish and lead continuous pricing optimization initiatives, including A/B testing, price sensitivity analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Advise on contract negotiations, discount strategies, and special pricing arrangements as needed.
  • Continuously refine and improve business analysis processes to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or related roles, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful pricing strategies.
  • Experience in Technology, Cybersecurity, or SaaS software companies.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel or other data analysis tools; familiarity with pricing software (e.g., PROS, Vendavo, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Experience with international and global market pricing needs, as well as dynamic pricing, subscription-based models, or SaaS pricing strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: 145,000 USD - 180,000 USD
