Staff Accountant

Overview

A healthcare technology organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is critical in supporting the company’s growth by ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, while innovating accounts payable processes to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounts payable cycle, including company credit card coding, reconciliation, and routine month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as a strategic partner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvements.
• Share knowledge to contribute to team growth and enhance internal accounting processes.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or 1–3 years of equivalent accounting experience, ideally including accounts payable, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Licensed CPA or actively studying for the CPA exam is preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• Proficient with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, sorting/filtering, and basic pivot tables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with various software platforms in a live setting.
• Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment with a passion for learning and process improvement.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
