Staff Accountant/Sr Accountant I

Overview

This role involves supporting the Accounting and Finance team with revenue recognition and related accounting activities. The position focuses on preparing accounting transactions, reconciliations, variance analysis, and assisting with financial audits. It offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with various departments and contribute to the organization's financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting transactions across various business processes including revenue, accounts receivables, and deferred revenue
• Prepare monthly reconciliations
• Assist with variance analysis (month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, etc.)
• Track customer aging and prepare cash application
• Support quarterly and annual financial statement audits with auditors
• Participate in special projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required)
• 1-2 years of accounting experience (required)
• Experience with a Big 4 or other national accounting firm (preferred)
• CPA license (preferred)

Technical Requirements

• For call center employees, ability to connect directly to home internet router

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $60,000 - $85,000
• Total compensation is based on skills and experience and may vary above or below the stated range
