Overview
This role involves leading the design, configuration, and support of Oracle EBS Financials within a large, complex enterprise environment. The position focuses on enhancing accounting-centric processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, subledger accounting, and related integrations. The successful candidate will partner with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable ERP solutions that support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle EBS Financials across accounting processes.
- Lead solution design, configuration, support, and continuous improvement with emphasis on close acceleration, data accuracy, control strength, and audit readiness.
- Apply AI thoughtfully to improve systems analysis, documentation, and operational efficiency while maintaining governance and risk awareness.
- Support end-to-end integrations between Oracle EBS and external enterprise applications, including SaaS and cloud-based systems impacting accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with Accounting stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable Oracle EBS and cloud platform solutions.
- Help define and execute the Oracle ERP roadmap in partnership with product owners, systems managers, and business leaders.
- Assess and enhance record-to-report and related finance processes to simplify workflows, strengthen controls, and improve operational effectiveness.
- Ensure strong SDLC, change management, and SOX-compliant processes across the ERP ecosystem.
- Work with Managed Service Partners and internal teams to promote operational excellence and continuous service improvement.
- Partner across Finance and IT to support ERP modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of progressive experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle EBS in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in Oracle EBS Financials, including hands-on knowledge of GL, AP, CM, FA, SLA, and accounting control frameworks.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials is a plus.
- Ability to use AI responsibly in enterprise environments, with attention to security, privacy, governance, and validation of AI-assisted outputs.
- Strong functional understanding of end-to-end Finance processes, accounting operations, and ERP controls in public-company or highly regulated environments.
- Experience leading Oracle EBS configuration, enhancements, issue resolution, release coordination, and cross-functional systems initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Oracle EBS integrations, enterprise application architecture, and cloud integration frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of SOX controls, audit readiness, compliance requirements, and change management practices within ERP and financial systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven success working across Finance, IT, vendors, and global cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, systems thinking, and a track record of delivering reliable, scalable, business-focused enterprise solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $158,765 to $326,870 USD annually.
- Position is eligible for equity.
- Final salary is based on factors including location, travel, relevant experience, and skills.
Location & Work Model
- US-based applicants only.
- This role requires in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6 months and can be located anywhere in the United States.
- This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
