Strategic Finance Manager

Overview

This is a fully remote role.

The organization develops an AI analytics platform that helps enterprises turn company data into a governed source of truth for analytics and AI. The Strategic Finance Manager will manage core quantitative finance functions, including ownership of the financial model, FP&A processes, and detailed financial analysis to support key business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the 5-year company financial model, including scenario analyses.
• Manage monthly and quarterly FP&A cycles, including variance analysis, actuals vs. budget reporting, and forecasting.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating departmental budgets and overall budget governance.
• Oversee the commission model and monthly payout calculations, coordinating with Sales and RevOps.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic decisions such as pricing, hiring, and investments.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling.
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models and key metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn).
• Experience managing FP&A workflows, including variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
• Experience working at a scaling startup.
