Overview

This contractor role is remote and available to US candidates only. The organization is seeking qualified Tax Advisors with CPA or Enrolled Agent credentials to review and evaluate income tax preparation and filing scenarios. Responsibilities include applying tax expertise to assess AI-generated tax guidance and improve accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review real-world federal and state income tax scenarios.
• Evaluate tax preparation and filing documents and workflows.
• Provide accurate guidance based on IRS regulations and tax standards.
• Identify tax complexities, exceptions, and potential errors.
• Develop and apply tax-related rubrics, checklists, and quality standards.
• Evaluate AI-generated tax responses for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide clear, structured feedback and recommendations.

Requirements

• Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is required.
• Proven experience in income tax preparation and filing for individuals and/or businesses.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
• Ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
• Experience with quality reviews, audits, rubrics, or checklists is a plus.
• Interest in AI and technology-driven tax solutions.
