Tax Manager - Door County

Overview

Tax Managers play a key role on the business tax team, responsible for managing client relationships while ensuring final annual tax products and monthly financial work is produced and delivered to clients within expected timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
• Prepare corporate and individual tax returns.
• Build new and strengthen existing client relationships by demonstrating basic knowledge of clients’ businesses.
• Communicate with clients and meet with them as requested; provide recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Schedule

• Up to 50–60 hours weeks during tax season.
• 30–40 hour weeks for the remainder of the year.
• Flexibility around a typical Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule.
• Part-time and seasonal team members are welcome.
