Tax Manager

Overview

A stable and growing CPA firm in the Buffalo, NY area is seeking a Tax Manager to join its team. This role supports clients with high-quality tax knowledge and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing processes for clients
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Review and analyze complex tax issues and provide recommendations
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals
• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on tax-related matters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Must have CPA
• 5+ years of proven experience in public accounting
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

• $85,000 - $105,000
• Excellent benefits package
