Tax Manager - Goodyear

Overview

Tax Managers play a key role on the business tax team, managing client relationships while ensuring final annual tax products and monthly financial work are produced and delivered to clients within expected timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll, tax, and business records and reports
• Prepare corporate and individual tax returns
• Build new and strengthen existing client relationships by demonstrating basic knowledge of clients’ businesses
• Communicate with clients as requested, including meetings, and provide recommendations to help with financial or tax needs

Requirements

• 3+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification highly desired (or ability to attain)

Work Schedule

• During tax season: up to 50–60 hours per week
• Remainder of the year: 30–40 hours per week
• Flexibility with a typical Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule
• Part-time and seasonal team members are welcome
