Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-charge on tax client engagements, delivering strategic planning projections for business clients and their owners.
- Prepare and review complex tax returns independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review small to medium-sized tax returns for closely held businesses and their owners.
- Identify and resolve tax challenges through research and analysis.
- Lead and mentor tax associates and seniors by managing workflows, evaluating progress, and providing guidance.
- Maintain high standards of service quality and team energy.
- Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations.
- Provide high-impact consulting with tailored solutions for large private and public companies.
- Enhance expertise through targeted software training and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum of five years of recent public accounting experience focused on tax.
- Experience in tax planning, compliance, and research.
- Strong knowledge of tax methodologies and techniques.
- Ability to build client relationships and ask insightful questions.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
